Bring It On

I am Sarah of two clans, Ryan and Shelton.

Birthed in the land of rain, beavers, and hippies.

Chosen child of resolute Christopher, leader of money custodians.

A chameleon,

I adapt to any situation.

An owl,

I see and know all.

A grizzly,

I am strong, loving, and proud.

Queen in the life of chess,

I inspire awe in allies and fear in foes.

Protective of loved ones,

I smite any who dare hurt them.

I have conquered state and national testing.

I read others as I would word-bricks.

I endure any hardship.

I laugh at rejection,

Scoff at insults or injuries that would make men cry.

Now as college glares down,

Prepared with unbeatable classes, rude-mouths, and stress,

I meet the battle before me with arms wide spread.

A crouching lined feline,

I will climb, claw, and crumble obstacles that have crushed others.

I will defeat all potential negative and low letters.

New enemies will find their attacks to be useless in the face of my humor.

Surpassing all expectations,

I shall earn perfect grades, make friends, and find the light in the dark.

College shall tremble at my greatness.

Animal and Queen, I will thrive.

Standing the victor at the end of this mere skirmish.
