Because I Love You

Wed, 10/11/2017 - 12:25 -- Acolter

Because I love you, I let you treat me like a human punching bag

Days in Days out, I seemed like I was the only one bad

Because I love you, I let you lie to my face

She’s a friend, nothing more, then I knew I was out of place

Because I love you, I came running back

Thinking you would change and everything would be fine

Because I Love you, I went blind

I seen all the things you’ve done and I let it go behind

Because I Love You, I gave you my heart

Worried you’d break it and i’ll fall apart

Because I Love You, I cried

Thinking you would feel my pain and apologize

But Because I Love You, I had to leave

Knowing you’d never change a damn thing

And  Because I Love You, I can never forget

The damage you had done that I couldn’t fix
