O America,

the great, the brave

but are you?

Are you great enough to not fight,

are you brave enough to let the unknown in,

how can you call yourself great

when children

are beiling humiliated

for not having enough lunch money,

for being a bully,

for sending young men and women off to fight

when there is no need,

for not stadning up for equality, 

womens rights

gay rights

racial equality,

How can you call yourself brave

when you allow the police

to shoot

inocent

black boys,

Are you proud of your actions,

O America

the land of the free

the home of the brave,

I am not.
