Apology to i-gen

Sat, 01/13/2018 - 13:00 -- Neftee

They talk about fairness
And honest wages.
They talk about making it all right.
They make jokes about work unions
And they like to say it's all going to change
Or they quite.
But they are weak.
I never heard George Washington
Joke about the British.
And I never heard Martin Luther say
"Them white folks will get better"
But I do remember men getting shot
And throwing tons of tea into the Boston.
We live in a weak place
With sad people.
We will never rise above.
And that's that.
We will die
With the boot of Congress
On our necks.
And our children will curse
Our weakness.
