Anthem of a War

Thu, 12/11/2014 - 13:56 -- KetKat

There is a storm and it will rise

From sea to sea the sky fills with light

Wives and daughters left behind

With fields aflame and rivers dry

Our King will stand, our King will stand

Face grown stern and voice gone weary

The order is given

As leaves fall down and blood turns brown

Men will shout with clashing swords

"Death will fear us, Death will fear us

For war has come, war has come"

There was a storm for it has left

From sea to sea the sky has darkened

Families ruined and land no more

Our King still stands, our King still stands

The order has taken

The leaves no more and blood run cold

Men are shouting with fallen swords

"Death defeated, Death defeated

For war is gone, war is won"
