American Blue

My American Dream is blue,

I've lived through the true,

Watching everyone fail,

Everyone is prevailing with truth and bail,

I think poverty is cruel to the poor,

but the rich gets more,

As I get more into political news,

The American Dream has turned more blue,

Full with lies, with our heads up high,

We can see that things in the world don't turn out right,

More racism appears,

The American Dream is so far from near,

At the end of the day,

We believe in the American Dream as it seems,

But I still live through the true,

O, Why does my American Dream seems so blue?
