All I Need

My imagination chauffeurs my sensation.

Safely to where? I don’t care.

Afar from my fears, and my worthless tears.

Keeping my thoughts from my battles fought.

In the rain to ease the pain.

Away from the badlands of all my fake friends.

Around my dreams, where life has no seams.

Over the flowers, replenishing my powers.

Soaring through the sky, my feathery hopes held high.

I can’t live without the anecdote to my doubt,

And the bearer of the weight from society’s hate.

Fuck cars and trips to mars.

Through imagination I am freed, and that's all I need.
