the age of anxiety

This child is no longer a child,

discarded in a toxic environment.

This is the age of anxiety.

Stress, depression, isolation.

This child was ripped away from childhood

to question reality.

Panic, heart palpilations, hyperventilation.

This child is no longer a child,

but a victim of abandonment.

This is the age of anxiety.
