Accidental Suicide

Location

The cloud slowly rolls in

She rips up her sleeve again.

The glint off of the edge

is like lightning to her system.

Maybe this time

she won't have to be sad anymore.

The pain flows away,

red , warm, and strong.

She gasps as she realizes

that she went too far.

What was once a trickle

turns into a raging river.

She tries to stop it

but just like a tsunami,

its unstoppable.

She didn't want to die,

but now it feels like she doesn't have a choice.

She cries and cries,

screaming for help.

The knive falls.

The room goes black.

No one understands,

when just yesterday she was smiling.
