There comes a time in life, where we don’t know anything.

Everything seems cloudy, and confusing and all you want is a few answers.

People ask you legitimate questions you would have been able to answer a year before, but today you’re completely stumped.

You realize that you don’t know nearly as much as you thought.

You realize that this life is nothing close to flowers and pretty dresses.

You realize that nice hairstyles, the right body or clothes don’t get you everywhere in life, and they certainly don’t satisfy you the way you imagined.

You come to a point where you stop and take a look at your life so far, and you wonder if you’re heading on the right path, or if you were ever on the right road.

You come to realize that pain and heart ache are real. You remember someone telling you that Jesus is the only One who lasts. You understand what they mean by clinging to Jesus when times get rough.

You realize that all those times you comforted someone through painful situations how they really felt.

You recognize that there’s a real pain out there that only Jesus can sit you on his lap and rock you through.

You walk the streets of this world, and realize that people can smile at your face and actually be dying on the inside. Sick and tired of life.

You understand that you can love someone, and cling to them so dearly and they can walk right out of your life. Severing all ties. Dust their clothes of you.

You realize that people will forget about you.

You know that you will come across people who don’t really care about you.

That same day you realize these things, you cry bitterly because you never thought you would have ever come to familiarize yourself with all these emotions.

Well, I was living in a bubble for about 21 years, and life shook me awake from my dream in March. I’m finally awake, and it’s been an interesting time ever since.
