10. Just hope

Man, her smile is so big, why is she so happy?

Why is she always smiling?

She sits alone, always looking in her phone

But what they didn't know is that there is a battle going on

A battle inside her mind, and a battle inside her heart…

She struggles to do the right thing, but she ends up doing the wrong thing

So this led her to feel guilt, which leads to depression

There are voices in her head, voices she don't want to hear

So this led her to feel chained and bondaged.

She don't want anyone to pity her, so she just fake a smile

But behind that smile lies pain, anxiety, frustration, guilt, loneliness and depression.

She is silent, yet she is screaming. She is the loudest in the room

She is screaming for freedom, happiness, joy, help!!!

Then she start to have thoughts, that if she takes her life, everything will go away, the worries of life, the fear of the future and the struggles of living.

She could've give in, she could've throw in the towel, but she had hope.

Yes, she had hope in God. She believed that things will get better.

She believed that what she saw now wasn't all there was.

She believed that after the rain and storm there will be a rainbow.

She held on to hope, and thank God, hope didn’t let her down.

You probably can relate to this girl, you can probably relate to me…

You may feel like you’re alone, alone and against the world

There are times when depression make you weak

Times when fear choke the life out of you

And times when worries knock you out

There are times when loneliness won’t let you sleep

and times when guilt won’t shut up.

But don’t let them get the best of you, have hope in God.

You can rid of all these pains with the help of God.

Yes, I'm talking to you, you may feel like taking your life, but don't.

Things will get better, just have hope.

Have hope in God. Have hope in the resurrection.

Jesus gives hope. Things will get better. Just hope
