♡Another brick in the wall♡

Another Brick in the Wall

I am a brick.

with cement I stick

to the other bricks.

We grow and we fall.

My biggest mistake of them all,

was becoming another brick in the wall.

A job that I hate

puts the food on my plate.

The pay is okay,

I have a home

and a bed where I lay.

Although I shouldn't complain,

my life is quite plain.

I could've been a teacher.

I could've been a preacher.

Perhaps a firefighter

or even a novel writer.

Although,

I had chose good pay over a good day.

And her I lay,

and all I can say:

"I am a brick.

with cement I stick

to the other bricks.

We grow and we fall.

My biggest mistake of them all,

was becoming another brick in the wall."
